Dr. Joseph Ceravolo, founder of North Columbus Eye Center, is committed to offering concierge-style patient care and the most advanced vision correction options to residents of the Columbus, Opelieka/Auburn and Montgomery areas. Dr. Ceravolo's goal remains to provide the most modern, state-of-the-art ophthalmic treatment available, paired with the comprehensive patient care that sets North Columbus Eye Center apart from other eye care centers.
Dr. Ceravolo received his undergraduate and medical school training from State University of New York at Buffalo. He completed his residency in general surgery and practiced emergency medicine for several years before completing his residency in ophthalmology at the University of Buffalo.
Dr. Ceravolo is trained in the latest ophthalmic techniques, including cataract, glaucoma, LASIK, PRK, and other refractive surgeries. He is a board-certified member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), as well as the Georgia Society of Ophthalmology and the American Society for Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS). In the Columbus area, Dr. Ceravolo has hospital privileges at Surgery Center, Doctor's Hospital, Saint Francis Hospital, and The Medical Center.
